As sad as this is for the role of human communication, as much it is an opportunity for us (the environment) to impress and get noted.

Tripadvisor has become one of the most read travel related websites in the world. Hate it or love it, I would dare you to find a person that is planning a trip who has not had a peak at Tripadvisor. For us as hoteliers this is an opportunity to shine as nothing is a better sales tool as word of mouth (or word of website…).

Therefore it is with great pride that we note that our Sun Group Hotels are some of the most awarded properties in the Caribbean! Leading by example is our little gem in the green, Sugar Cane Club which has won Travellers choice awards from 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 and was also inducted into the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame 2015!

Savannah Beach Hotel has also benefitted from the hard work put into this wonderful South Coast property and has been awarded the certificate of excellence in 2013, 2014 and 2015, something that had never been achieved at this property before. Ever!

And of course we have Alicia Farmer and her team at Worthing Court who have just missed out on the Tripadvisor Hall of fame receiving the Certificate of excellence in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015 but not in 2014 which broke the chain. So once again it is “one step at a time”.

And last but never least, Almond Beach Resort has completed its’ remarkable turnaround from being shut down for two years to receiving the certificate of excellence this year! All the hard work the Team at Almond has put in over the past 18 months has paid off in a huge way.

Congratulations to everybody who has made the social media and Tripadvisor in particular a true sales and marketing tool which will ensure full hotels with happy guests for years to come!!
